The winner will join an illustrious list of recipients, which includes 2016 World Series MVP, Chicago Cubs' Kris Bryant, and standouts such as Bryce Harper, Stephen Strasburg, Buster Posey, and David Price.

During the award evening, the Rod Dedeaux Foundation will also present the USA Rod Dedeaux Baseball Coach of the Year Award to 2017 honoree, George Horton, of the University of Oregon.
